Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resorts old Hacienda building is home to the El Cason bar and restaurant. This modern bar has seating inside and outside on the terrace area serving drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a variety of traditional Spanish dishes and classic favourites for a variety of tastes. The Dovecote bar is open during the summer months and has comfy seating with lovely views across the resort.
As with all Nicklaus designed courses the environmental impact is a priority and at Hacienda Riquelme its no exception, through the green areas Paspalum varieties of grasses are used which decreases the need for large amounts of fresh water.
With the resort being surrounded by olive groves these trees have been incorporated into the design along with wild flower meadows and large lakes. With wider than normal fairways, the bunkering has a rugged look not normally associated with a resort course manicured look and many bunkers can be found up to 3 meters deep.
